Digital cloud systems

Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computing services ranging from data storage to application to processing to networking and to softwares  through the use of internet. It is a recent way of computing in which the user do not need to be in control of management of the computing networks or setting up an IT structure.

   A cloud system is not the same as a traditional web hosting. With cloud system users can demand the amount of service they require. It is the delivery of different Services through the internet. Cloud computing involves distributing computer resources rather than hosting it in a local server or hard drive.

  Cloud system is based on cloud computing, service-oriented architecture and the Iot. You can also describe it as a recent work oriented production concept that makes use of the internet and other service networks to assemble production resources. The term cloud computing was made famous in 2006 by during it release of Elastic Compute Cloud, but the phrase has being in existence since 1997. In 1977 networks of computing equipment was represented by the cloud symbol.

   Cloud system actually evolved from the time sharing data concept as IT companies began to switch from primary dedicated point-to-point data circuit to Virtual private network so as to make equilibrium among servers. Cloud system works mainly on the concept of Virtualization as it makes users to be able to make use of computing technologies without necessarily having a formal knowledge about any of the technologies. Virtualization provides the strength for accelerating it function, thereby, reducing the cost of computing.

   It makes use of service- Oriented Architecture (SOA) that can helps users find  solutions to their problems. It is operated by a third party, making it off-site thereby making user to access it anywhere they are with their Personal computers using web browser without the need to go through tremendous IT processes.

    Cloud computing can be categorized into 3 divisions by the location of the computeing resources and accessibility to it. They are the public cloud system, the private cloud system and the hybrid cloud system.

  The public cloud  

As the name describes is the cloud system that is open to the general public. It is a third party cloud system which is sold on demand in the range of minutes, hours or for a long term period depending on the nature of services which it is to be used for. Public cloud system is a pay-as-you-used system as user only pay for the quantity of services offered to them. Examples of public cloud service provider are Microsoft, Oracle, fast connect and Amazon web service.

Private cloud

The direct opposite of public cloud system. It is a system in which services are only offered to only a particular organisation. It can be hosted internally by the organisation or by a third party. The system brings about the convenient and versatility of the cloud. In private cloud, the computing resources is only utilised by a single individual or organisation. Examples of private cloud vendors are OpenStark and VMware.

Hybrid cloud

The combination of the two previous cloud mentioned earlier which are the private cloud and the public cloud system. It is the use of both systems simultaneously without binding them together. It is the best clouding system available.

As good as the cloud seems to be, it major primary flaws is the security issue. Though there have being increased security with VPN, the blockchain structure still prove to be the best in security aspects. The cloud centralised security has being one of the major reasons while organisation with sensitive data are scared to put their workload and data in the public cloud as there are issues of lack of security for stored kernels. However with the introduction of blockchain structure to the cloud network, the security issues can be greatly solved as it will help bring the merit and demerit of decentralisation to the system as well as serving as back up to the existing setbacks known with centralised cloud system.

  Blockchain is a system in which a record of transaction made in bitcoin or another cryptocurrency are maintained across several computers that linked in a peer-to-peer network. Blockchain can be said to be a distributed digital ledgers of cryptographically signed transactions that are Grouped into blocks. The blockchain design has the ability to distribute ledgers through the P2P repetition

   Blockchain on cloud can be said to be a decentralized network which uses cryptograph for distributing service demanded on cloud, shuttling between the provider and user. This network is very authenticated and secure as issues of decentralized security has being a major setback in the cloud system. Blockchain has being seen to be a major remedy to the problem.

   The blockchain structure is very likely to boost the data management and security of task in the cloud. Blockchain method of concept algorithm can also be used for scheduling task in the cloud thereby bringing about anonymity of users data and information. Blockchain structure on cloud systems provides on-demand secured service as peer-to-peer is used for service exchange and data sharing.

  SIA hosting also makes used of the blockchain structure but with the complexity of the cloud system on blockchain structure, the cloud system will be a  a better security option for users and data exchange will be more secured as attackers won’t be able to penetrate it, so organizations with complex data could be much assured of a better security to their data. With the blockchain system the centralized based cloud manufacturing problems is solved thereby making cloud a better option from the security aspects.
