The Rice Affymetrix Virtual Hyb Generator is a tool that creates pseudo log2 ratio expression values from a selection of Affymetrix ROMA database expression hybridization data considered to be 'query', versus a common 'reference' hybridization. To use this tool, first select a study of interest using the left drop down menu and select one or more hybridizations using ctrl that are to be treated as queries. Next, repeat the procedure with the drop down menu on the right for a reference hybridization. Enter an email address for a notification to be sent once the analysis is complete, then press Submit.
Running large batches (10+ hybs) may require 10-15 minutes. The output will be a tab-delimited text file containing Affymetrix probe set names as rows and hyb vs. query names as columns.
